I don't see how you took the next step from "complimentary" to "give her the victory." I don't think I said that they gave her the victory...i simply said that they were quite fair in their initial reaction. By the way, you are nitpicking me. Most of the "compliments" came from the fact that Palin beat expectations, which were already set low by the Katie Couric interview. That's not the media's fault.
