This 'ratio' is bogus. There is no connection anymore between the POG and the XAU anymore. The XAU consists of 10 precious metal mining companies and there is nothing to say that shares must follow the metals prices anymore. Ever hear the old saying "Stress is Resisting what is"? Best to stop dreaming that we are in the past. The reality is that people are selling PM shares and flocking to the metals themselves, in fact in case you haven't noticed, all the brilliant analysts that have been calling a bottom in the PM shares for the last 6 months have been completely wrong. We are in a depression now and no one wants shares anymore, of any type and this brings another saying to mind...."a fool and his money are soon parted". Keep playing on a hope and a wish and you will soon see this is true. BTW the POG is not going to be cut in half in your wildest imaginings.
