My comment on that? Computer algorithms execute the trading instructions in a remarkably orderly manner, free of panic, or any other emotion. They do what the program says to do, without question or delay, in predetermined increments and time frames.

And bs on the small investor causing the downward pressure. Its hedge funds blowing, or institutions delevering. Combined with few bids. The few bids are probably mostly from the small investors.
