The war is a real issue and an important one, but not every post is going to be or should be about it, or about a handful of other important issues. As for the specifics in your list some of them like "The $3Trillion war" and "The serious erosion of our civil liberties" (at least to the extent you mean serious new erosion under Bush, rather than a slow general erosion of liberty going back a long time), are not real issues, but fake issues. Others aren't specific enough to designate as real or fake (for example "Serious levels of rising unemployment")
