Ed,

There isn't any uncertainty about this company, may be not much news between now and Comdex, and that's all. If you go to Sandisk's web site and read, you'll be impressed. Look at all the news, see how they succeed in dominating the flash market. Look at all the alliances. The problem is the stupid statement by the CEO, in one breath, he said that the company will go to a secondary (read dillution) and in another breath, he said revenue will be flat for the next quarter. Is he an IDIOT or what? Is like saying buy my company, but you know, there is no growth, this is a dead company. I am mad like hell too about this IDIOT. For the last year or so, this company has grown like crazy. Look at all the fab they build (in Taiwan), and the alliance with Matsushita to build the chip. What do you think it's for if there is no growth? I am stuck too with this stock but I am going to hang to perhaps next quarter when the number shows again that this company is growing like crazy. This reminds me of MRVC and our PR-less CEO Noam Lotan, the stock did tank to ridiculous price at one time and look at where we are today.

Make Louis the CEO of Sandisk.

Mike.

Louis stated Friday that he went short at 29 1/8 and covered later the same day at a loss.

Look at the BID size and ASK size!
BID size = 5900, BID price = 27 9/16, ASK size = 1000, ASK price = 27 3/4, time = 10:45 PST.

It means that if you have a 5900 shares block you want to sell at the bid price, the Market Muggers are willing to take them all. But if you want to buy at the ask price, the MMs are only willing to give away 1000 shares. If you buy more, they may raise the price. This is a sign that the Market Muggers are trying to accumulate shares. Don't give it to them at this ridiculous price.
