Not me. Deflation is just as impossible now as it was a few years ago.

I always thought the Government would not allow the pain to be felt in nearly the intensity needed to bring about the needed cleansing of years of malinvestment.

Almost 3 trillion dollars worth of budget and bailout and Fed action in the last 2 weeks bears out my projected fears.

Where is all that money going to come from? My guess is at least half will be obtained via the magic of the printing presses.

Watch the price of gold, not the price of a dollar. The dollar may look strong when compared to other currencies that are racing to the bottom faster but that does not mean it is strong, just appears so relatively.
