How come the Democrats were so effective in blocking judicial nominees if they possessed no checks on Republican power? Who was in control of Congress for the past two years? WTF did they do but whine and moan? You say Bush is the worst president ever, but this Congress is even worse, especially since they couldn't do a damned thing against such an unpopular president. All they do is invest themselves in defeat abroad and economic disaster at home. This is the party you want to give true unchecked power to. Pendulum?
