If McCain wants any shred of his former stature, he should shut down Palin, end the negative stuff and lose with some honor and dignity. His current course will just have him lose as a revealed slimeball of the very worst sort, and make his party even more reviled than it currently is.

I was watching the debate on CNN and clearly the people who were scoring the graph don't want to hear anymore personal attacks from either candidate. The lines went consistently negative each and every time the men said something negative and personal about each other...this negative tactic may have worked in the past...it doesn't seem to be working nor even welcome now in the backdrop of the very serious financial problems staring at us now. Al
