I was wondering how that works. Does it mean a guaranteed reduction of mortgage rates to 5 1/4 %? I have heard several plans along those lines and some that even reduce principal.

If they want to do that it is much easier to allow inflation to run wild and everyone would eventually have manageable mortgages.

I am tired of all the systems and gimmicks in the financial systems and I am very convinced that bullets and band aids might be the best investment.
