"I think McCain was able to accomplish one important thing -- and that was to put doubt in people's minds as to Obama's capability to handle to the job."

Not according to the polls. Obama is polling up on his ability to handle the job. Granted, the results of snap polls sometimes don't hold. But they did from the first debate.

However, the bad news for McCain is he is polling down as to likability. As to the economy, the current fiscal crisis and Iraq.

With Obama polling consistently at or above 50%, undecideds are going to continue breaking his way. Unless McCain can find something and make it stick, he is going to get stomped.

"Obama is just too slick and too good a liar. "
