Very Interesting article....a few notes: note how IDT's market ambition grows: -IDT was projecting the C6 as a 1 million chip a year business for cy98 now it is 1 or 2 million C6 and C6+ units for cy98. -IDT for the first time stated its intentions of capturing 5% or the 18 BILLION dollar x86 market...over the next 3 to 5 years.Well this is ~ 1 BILLION dollars more in high margin revenue for a 1/2 billion dollar low margin company. AT 100 bucks they intend to be producing 10 million winchips a year in 3 to 5 years.With there Hillsboro fab they can make this many chips no problem. -Customer announcements in November...This keeps getting pushed out. -The new winchip pr guy,Mr.Haider seems to handle himself quite well. -What is with the msft rumor ...I never heard this before Charlie
