It's getting harder each day to be an optimist Amen to that, but we have to keep trying. A friend of mine just bought a foreclosed residential property at a cash price of 40% of the asking price. Whether or not he should have waited a bit longer, who knows, but he had a family member that needed housing. I live in a state were the hand wringers claim it's almost impossible to get a job. My daughter's boyfriend just landed a position that the biggest question seems to be whether they will work 5 12 hour shifts or 6 10's at a wage that is pretty damned good for his stage of life cycle. Things could always be worse.
