Is this a bottomless pit, geez, not even a decent bounce.

I think I'm going to take another cruise... I have lots more fun standing on the buffet line than sitting here watching the paint dry...<g>

Murder...excessive

It will end at the end of trading today when Paulson speaks.

We may have a very interesting announcement.

Care to guess what it might be?

I have always been of the opinion that the only way that the crisis can end is to by fiat make derivatives, esp. CDS, null and void and unenforceable. The sheer size of the positions is so large that traditional measures tofight meltdowns caused by them simply cannot be effective.

Wipe the slate clean. Poof, they do not exist anymore. Crisis over.

Or something like that.

It can be done in any number of ways. The point being that they are no longer toxic.
