The Republicans under Newt Gingrich never had a "veto-proof majority" under Clinton, yet they began from day one with a positive agenda. They accomplished more in their first two years than the Democrats did when they took over last year. No need to blame Bush for the Democrats' failure. Pelosi and Reid have demonstrated all by themselves that they have absolutely no backbone, no leadership skills, and no competence whatsoever. Think that will fix itself once Obama gets to the White House? God bless his spirit, but that guy is going to get the short end of it all. Tenchusatsu
