Did you know a few years when Katrina hit NO, that Mississippi and E Tx were devastated too?

Some people count to CNN and company and some don't.

First off, this is flyover country, filled with hicks. Its not NY or Cali.

Second, even NO mattered to the media only because there was a racial angle to use in a political attack on the administration.

I've been watching it.......it ain't been pretty. An entire peninsula was wiped out and people taken out to sea. Some called just before they died......like with 9/11. I hope they prevent people from building on that peninsula again.

I've caught glimpses of it too, but my point is that the country is completely ignoring this suffering.

I think the financial meltdown has most people looking inward.
