I haven't seen a full report on the press conference yet. Supposedly, the sheriff's concern is they were evicting renters from homes where the rent was being paid, but the mortgage wasn't.

I suppose real estate is quit claimed at foreclosure, so there's no breach of warranties. That's the pits.
