Neeka you forgot Americans supporting the IRA. You forgot Omagh for example [supported by Americans]. You forgot The Rainbow Warrior. <Forget what terrorists have done. Forget the Cole. Forget Beirut. Forget Beslan. Forget Riyadh. Forget Madrid. Forget London. Forget all of that, because if we just attack Pakistan and capture or kill OBL all will be well.

Go get the cave dweller and the forces of evil will go poof and be gone.

Also, you misunderstand the idea of getting Osama. You are obviously confused if you think anyone thinks that will stop Islamic Jihad. Islamic Jihad is Islamic ideology. It isn't dependent on one person. It's built into the theology of Islam. It's about conquest and conversion.

I haven't heard or read of anyone saying "attack Pakistan" either. They say go and get Osama. If Pakistan supports and defends Osama, that's another question. Just as the Taleban supported Osama and were defeated militarily, it would be quite reasonable to defeat Pakistan militarily if they were to become Osama supporters and defenders.

You trendy lefty liberal types are scared of such confrontation. You prefer appeasement. Come on now, be a man! Stick your chest out and confront Islamic Jihad. Okay, those are figures of speech and being a man might not suit everyone. Ladies sticking their chests out for example gives a different impression from a bloke sticking his chest out.

Yes, there were good outcomes from invading and conquering Iraq, but it's a matter of costs and benefits. Lots of people now think the cakewalk was on the costly side. If they could rewind the clock, the voting would be different. No WMDs, huge costs, much carnage, oil prices through the roof.
