I thought the david brooks article telling. I am far from being a liberal but i cant even consider mccain given what palin is saying on the trail to the know nothing rt wingers who populate her rallies and this thread. Bring back bill buckley and ronald reagan and i would support them in a NY minute but i cant vote for the haters who have taken over the republican party. This catastrophe we are in is a result of 8 years of bush. It starts with poor judgement and lies on iraq, passes thru mishandling of katrina sans compassion for the poor souls of N.O. and now end bitterly in the economic catastrophe we are now living thru. I wont be fooled again and i will support an admin led by an open minded man with differnt ideas than mine rather than an old fool with his young acolyte doing his dirty work. Its not mcsame but mcshame for caving into atwater/rove tactics.
