Hi jss - I have listened sporadically for a couple of years. He is a trader and I have tended to be more of an "investor" (i.e. have developed a bad habit of not cutting losses quickly). In markets like these, I gain a renewed appreciation for risk management, albeit a tad on the late side. At any rate, he has made some good calls in the past. He called the top in gold in May of 2006 when it cleared 700 and said a 12-18 month correction was in order. He got that one right, for sure. His book "Timing The Trade" is a good manual on technical analysis. One of the things that I like is that he always starts the show with a little philosophy that seems to be derived from sources like Napoleon Hill and Wayne Dyer. You can call in to the show when it is live and ask him for analysis on specific stocks, though I have not taken advantage of that myself.
