"Or that IAVA only selected the "22 key votes" that they think really matter to (liberal) veterans."

Any proof of that?

Oh, right.

If it could be possible it must be possible...

Well, what do you think should count to veterans as support for them?

Ted, I'm sure it doesn't strike you as odd that IAVA's position on the "22 key votes" almost always aligns with the Democratic party platform, i.e. handouts and entitlements for all.

No, I think the Dems have been the more sensitive party to the needs of veterans and active military. Remember.....it was the Dems who raised holy hell when Rumsfeld, a GOPer, didn't want to armor the Hummers over in Iraq. A representative of IAVA was on tv tonite......and he did not speak all that well of either Obama or McCain. But he did say overall, Obama was the better friend of the vet even as he very carefully pointed out that Obama did not get an A.....just a B.

Traditionally, the GOP has been more concerned with the businesman and the wealthy, not the little guy. And the IAVA report card is just one more example of that bias. Frankly, I don't think you have a good understanding of your party and its traditions and reputation.
