It is pretty difficult to believe he didn't know. It isn't like he become close personal friends with the guy without someone saying, "Hey, by the way, you know the guy is a terrorist, right?"

The claim is silly and an obvious lie.

Besides, the real question is whether he knew when he last saw Ayers, 18 months ago just after he started his campaign.

I hope like hell McCain doesn't drop this. It is certainly one of the most important points that can be made about Obama's terrorist ties. By no means the ONLY point -- the Khalidi relationship is far more troubling to me and it hasn't been mentioned for the most part.

Hopefully, the McCain campaign is saving that as "another shoe to drop" just when people start to believe the Obama bullshit.
