Hey John,
hmmm, I think that the opinion that 2007 really is a big deal has to do with the perspective.

For me, I really have been focusing on working, trying to get the company off the ground with as little turbulance as possible. When I was immersed in the trading, I gave a shit about every point up or down that the nasdaq or s&p went.

Nowadays, I just look forward to the big days...up or down for good long term entries or exits. Of course, my version of "long term" is still very different than most.

2008 is most memorable to me because my son hit three home runs and I'm the commissioner of the fall ball league..oh yeah, and his coach. How's that for perspective? ("too much fucking perspective now" -This is Spinal Tap).

I am going to go back to what I said earlier, it just ain't as bad as the news makes it out to be. It's their job to sensationalize this crap. The simple fact is, if the government did nothing, we would work it all out and society won't implode.

I guess what I am trying to get to is....how is 2007 any different than the last half of the 90s?
