Wrong. Counter-insurgency wars are very much about which side the population supports.

What's your point here, Po? Al Qaeda is beaten in Iraq. Sure, there is an occasional bombing, but our casulty list is the lowest it has ever been. Baghdad's monthly violent death toll would compare favorably now with Chicago's. Even Obama admits we have won.
