Thank you. I understand that Wiki is only as accurate as the individuals who submit the information. The Wiki reference I posted summarizes and extensively cross-references the sources from which the poster obtained the information. I checked several and found them accurate, if annoying to pin down, as the Dallas Morning News was actually originally reported by the New York Times. The last paragraph sums it up.

Even some conservatives who know Mr. Obama said that if he was drawn to Ayers-style radicalism, he hid it well.

"I saw no evidence of a radical streak, either overt or covert, when we were together at Harvard Law School," said Bradford A. Berenson, who worked on the Harvard Law Review with Mr. Obama and served as associate White House counsel under President Bush. Mr. Berenson, who backs Sen. John McCain, called his schoolmate "a pragmatic liberal" whose moderation frustrated others at the law review whose views were much further to the left.

Of course, I will probably receive some responses saying that the New York Times is hardly a reliable source, but there is no evidence that the Times fabricated the Bradford Berensen quote.

Obama and Ayers crossed paths from time to time in Chicago, However, as it stands, there is nothing to substantiate Palin's claim that Obama "paled around" with Ayers.
