While he did play the role of doling out money, there was no accountability -- a decision was made to fork over $X to some organization and he saw to it they got the check. And from all we know, with 10s of millions spent, there was no material benefit derived. It was wasted money. He failed even as a community organizer (not sure how you do that, but he managed). He is a gifted public speaker. But there is no indication he has any capability beyond that and his relationships with terrorists and inability to capitalize on the most favorable political situation Dems have seen in years suggests that even his skills as a politician are not that impressive. He is a great public speaker. And he's dangerous.
