Black, white, green, purple... whatever. As do you, I believe in our constitution and freedom of speech and religion. I also support churches in their efforts to promote social justice and moral values. However, when those churches move from their stated missions and ministers start endorsing specific candidates from the pulpits it would seem they should be classified as political action committees, not religious organizations. "the tax free status of religious institutions engaged in political activity?" you talking about black churches ?
