Sarah's popularity is down to the 60s now (still very good!).

But GZ, if you lived in a State grown fat on the increase in oil revenues and then treated it like a nationalized industry by taxing the proceeds and then distributing big checks to the populace...you would be popular too!

I am sure she is a fine Governor. She has shown me nothing to indicate she is ready to be Vice-Presient or President. Rather the opposite.

Don't you think "popularity" might be overrated as a measure of competence? Clinton was always "popular" whereas Bush is the most unpopular President in modern times. I believe you think highly of Mr. Bush.
