My view -- shares won't go to zero if gold takes off. What will go down sharply is the purchasing power of the dollar. We are approaching a break point where being a millionaire in US dollars won't mean much. We are heading towards a sharp decline in our purchasing power. Stocks will reflect new economic realities -- but that does not mean they go to zero.
