Thinking out a ways I can see a 1500 point Dow before ALL is well again...more to do with time frame then actual DJIA .... lets say 1980 to 1984 as critical path years re credit, RE values, DJIA, consumer confidence, middle class values..... think as above to get a handle on what is needed to alleviate current chaos..... single biggest new event from 1984 forward that skews all and must be accounted for is..... China and Pac Rim becoming Players in Manufacturing World, 1st as an outsourcing resource and 2nd as becoming Global Manufacturing entities.... HK is just the financial brain and outward manifestation of Chinese wherewithal and it is significant in Global parlance... regards
