I think they should select a better name. Pampa de Pongo doesn't sound serious enough to be an iron mine. Sounds like the lead singer of a Mariachi band. Where is Cuervo in all this. Aren't they in the Marcona too? EC<:-}

Valuepro, Cardero Resources (CDY, CDU.TO) -- I bought some of this today, great call on this one. This was a pick by Ron Struthers who does a newsletter I used to get. Its pretty unusual to get an "advance payment" on a purchase deposit, this seems to imply that the Chinese are pretty certain they will do the deal. I keep thinking I must be missing something here, any thoughts on what the downsides are at this point? Also, any thoughts on what value this company would get with all $200 M in their bank account?
