OK let me give you a few examples DUDE. A few years ago Congress passed a law enacting certain changes to the HIPPA. Supposedly designed to provide for greater privacy of medical records. The result of which rendered every Health Care Power of Attorney written prior to that invalid. The result was that millions of people were required to spend money to have their documents rewritten for no worthwhile reason That is ineffective regulation.

Under the Patriot Act, in certain circumstances banks are not permitted to open new accounts, even with existing customers, without the client visiting the bank. I represent a lot of elderly people who have problems getting around. This was a great hardship to them and entirely unnecessary.

Have you ever attended a mortgage settlement. There are many documents that supposedly benefit the consumer that you are supposed to initial or sign. If you read all of those documents settlements would take three days, and the average well educated attorney could not understand them, so most people don't read any of them and they just sign them and hope for the best. That is ineffective regulation DUDE.

No I don't understand all of them or most of them and let me tell you a secret, neithe do the so called intelligent people who enact them DUDE.
