Really hard to understand how falling home prices and a few defaults in the subprime mortgage market can produce the current chaos.

Look towards the $62Trillion (with a T) in credit default swaps... nobody knows if they are worth anything, but they are on the books everywhere.

Anyone have news on GRRF today?

I wonder if daytraders ran it today? Seemed to be a large block at the beginning that might have attracted them technically.
