Hi OX, yes, I'm with ya. I've analyzed so many of these stocks in this sector, it was more a "thinking out loud" to get some feedback regarding ACLS since I've come up with the same ~$2 fire sale (or I call it reduced/conservative tangible equity) figure. I did buy a little today too - just call it an long term option like play. Maybe it goes to zero, maybe it's a really nice payoff, but I've seen much worse odds than this....

Believe me, in this environment, the first thing I do is run the numbers on the balance sheet to see if there's REAL tangible equity and current assets significantly greater than current liabilities. I mean how is one to value a company anymore? Certainly forward earnings estimates aren't worth the paper thay are written on. I think that's the most conservative way to to it, so that's why I do it.

RE "IF they get the financing and IF they make it through the downturn"

Actually, if they get the financing, then the 2nd part probably happens, and I wouldn't be surprised if it became a quick double from here with that news and the right market psychology - thats only ~$1.50.

Good luck
