A correction drawn out over a year I (and a lot of people) can manage. To me it is the speed of it all over 1 week that is troubling. And I might say most damaging to most people, the economy, job outlooks, and savings.

My prediction: when we bounce, we will bounce hard. Really hard. Sentiment is so bad, as soon as the air clears, even a little bit, the rally will be spectacular. I'll be specific: from wherever the bottom is, the SOX will rally 40-60% in 2 weeks to 2 months. So, if today was the bottom, I'm predicting the SOX will rally from 232, up to the the 325-371 area, by mid-December at the latest. Movement from extreme oversold conditions, tends to be a very quick snap-back toward the longer-term averages. The 200d moving average of the SOX is at 360.

I am not predicting where the bottom is.
I'm not predicting the rally will hold,
or that we've seen the lows for this bear market.
