Thanks for posting this. Very enlightening. Stansberry is a smart guy. Years ago I used subscribe to his newsletter. The way he goes from describing the evolving deflationary situation towards holding gold is a bit of a leap, imo... but it does make sense, perhaps, as insurance against a sudden turn towards inflation. Calls everywhere for more regulation make very little sense. Members of Congress for the most part do not understand the markets - and rely on "experts". We all would be better off if instead of trusting experts we'd rely on healthy free market *principles*. Irresponsible economic behavior would lead to predictable consequences, and the government would be out of the (corrupting) business of endlessly causing and fixing problems.
