It is with a heavy heart that I make this post. At present, it is 29 degrees outside. We had a freeze last night as well. Grapes in the Walla Walla Appelation are still on the vine and have not been harvested. Sugar content of most is around 22 brix. 25 to 26 is ideal for winemaking. The freeze effectively put an end to sugar content increasing. R.I.P. 2008 Walla Walla Vintage wines.
