With trading in the ETF at three times the normal level, investors have picked up 52,000 calls and 3,000 puts, according to Trade Alert. There's considerable activity around November $31 calls, in particular. Priced at $2.05, the contracts make money if the fund shares climb above $33.05 before Nov. 21. There were no real substantial increases but meter by meter operators in the Gulf continue to incrementally increase production levels. We should start to see some of the more notable repairs in the Gulf by next week, at which point Gulf production is likely to make larger daily increases depending on how quickly production ramps up.
