So does the money that was paid from the losing party (by selling everything that was not tied down this week) to the winning party find its way back in to the markets next week? Which markets?

Crystal is ball still out for repair, dog ate the dried chicken bones, Ouija Board and tarrot cards and the tea leaves are proving to be unreliable in this market.

They would all predict a better market if they saw several days with higher highs and higher lows, then several weeks of higher highs and higher lows, and the several months of ....

Then if the market powered its way through the 20, 50, 90 and 200 DMAs, all would be well with the world.
