Palin has proved herself to be not only a disastrous pick for McCain, but the natural extension - nay, devolution - of George Bush. I truly did not think we would see a politician even more intellectually challenged and disinterested, ideologically rigid, and pathetically unqualified than Bush in our lifetimes. But, here we have one right on the heels of the Worst President of All Time - the Worst Vice Presidential Candidate of All Time. I guess the Republican party is mirroring the stock market. Maybe Palin is their final capitulation, and the GOP can start the long road to recovery.
