For 1-min and 5-min (and other) charts, check out

fast.quote.com

The 5-min chart shhows a definite (but small) recovery over the past few days. But of course this is still peanuts compared to... whatever.

Sal-RE: DBexpress Internet Server applet versus a java applet:

My understanding from reading reviews of dbExpress is that both are being offered, and that the customer has a choice of which suits it.

SAl, I don't know about the 'advantage' to either, I think that its' more a case of which is 'applicable'. I would defer to someone like Steve,....Best to you, Pugs

Sal,

I believe if you will read the following and communicate with the people at the following e-mail addresses you will be able to discover the following:

1. The answers to the questions you asked about java/java applet searches.
2. The details on Info-sort and a comparison with dbex and dbserver(tm)
3. The existing relationships between MAID and BT
4. Information relative to the timing of an upcoming blockbuster announcement re: MAID/BT

Info-sort is tested fully developed search technology that is presently deployed in huge inter/intranet environments, can handle tera-bites of information AND DOES NOT REQUIRE BT TO GAMBLE ON UNTESTED TECHNOLOGY THAT SOME HERE SPECULATE MAY REQUIRE 10 MILLION DOLLARS TO DE-BUG ,TWEAK, AND FINE TUNE.

"What makes M.A.I.D.'s services useful, however, is its
proprietary system for cutting through information overload.
Called InfoSort, the system categorizes data in ways that make
it easier for customers to zero in on exactly the information
they are seeking."

Also under consideration is the development of additional
services based on M.A.I.D's LiveWire service and
InfoSort indexing technology to enable companies
to manage and organised their internal information.
