The biggest European banks are considered part of the national fabric The point made in the lecture was that German banks though were different from other European banks. I have no knowledge of this at all - but did wonder about that point they were making. If true, the German banks may be one of the survivors that you mention? German and Spanish banks too? Maybe also Scandinavian banks (esp. Norway and Sweden?)- because they have already gone through this not too long ago? steve
