I'll venture a nasty scenario out:

Since the PPT is now officially taken out by Mr. Derivative
Melt, we could see

a) Markets closed for the expiration week, at least, winning
puts cancelled
b) Once they reopen - a T-bond crash and USD crisis.
c) A scary thought: Bush announces national emergency and
cancels the elections (he got the power)
d) US of A becomes officially a totalitarian fascist country.

Hope none of these come to pass, but I give (a) a reasonably
high probability. (b) is quite likely soon as well. As for
(c) and (d), well, if that happens, I am gone...
