Climate and sunspot activity. beware of possible new "Maunder Minimum" (note: story written in JULY 2008) science.nasa.gov thks jrhana on astronomy buffs thread. a handy link on sunspot activity. space-env.esa.int Everything (so far) at the moment looks to be snuggly warm through this winter... Met office forecast for upcoming winter. metoffice.gov.uk So at the moment it's sell oil and no need to stockpile further winter heating products. It's been a while since we had a normal winter though and we could get one. The ability for speculators to create havoc is higher these days I think.
