you are right in your analysis but from watching the weekend developments in the EU each country is taking the right steps and is also talk of giving the ECB a mandate similar to the US FED.

Time will tell if the EU will smart up and they all know that at present time trashing the Euro will mean deep depression and chaos in Europe - fear is a very powerful emotion and at present time EU politicians are under tremendous fear - all of a sudden Brown from the UK is their hero - even Merkel succumbed and Berlusconi stopped spewing nonsense to his TV networks

Only time will tell if currencies market will go to a multi-polar system killing the Brenton Wood agreements
