EGAS--Energy Search, Inc. News!! 8 million cubic feet of gas per day by the end of 1997? Energy Search Incorporated (Nasdaq: EGAS) has completed a 10 mile pipeline on the company's Beaver tract in West Virginia. According to C.E.O. Charles P. Torrey, the $500.000 capital project enables the company to service more than 80% of the current and anticipated future wells on the 17.000 acre tract. "The pipeline facility is a vital component of our overall plan for developing the Beaver tract to it's full potential, which management believes is significant", says Torrey. He added that, "The pipeline traverses extremely rugged terrain, and as a result, we view completion of the project on time as a significant milestone for the company." In connection with the completion of the pipeline, EGAS opened a second tap on the pipeline which has the capacity of introducing 4 million cubic feet of gas per day from the Beaver tract to an interstate pipeline carrier. EGAS' first tap became operational in July this year, with capacity of introducing 3 million cubic feet per day to its interstate pipeline carrier. Torrey said EGAS anticipates completing a third tap on its pipeline system to be completed by the end of 1997. If completed as contemplated, the third tap would provide EGAS with total daily capacity of 8 million cubic feet per day. 2 weeks ago the stock was put on Investors' Alert most favourable stock list with a target of 23 1/2. EGAS has made a strategic shift from a sponsor of oil and gas partnerships to an independent exploration company and the shift is having a dramatic effect on the co's revenues and earnings. This explosive growth, so far, has gone unnoticed by mainstream Wall Street, but probably not for long. Co's 1st quarter '97 revenues rose 458% compared to 1st quarter '96 revenues. Happy trading!
