ok, I'll bite. If the finding that Palin violated Alaska's ethics laws and abused her power was simply a personal, partisan witch hunt, then why is it that it was a bipartisan commission, lead by a Republican dominated legislature, unanimously signed and approved by the same?

This wasn't partisan politics. It was a fact finding exercise to see if there was an abuse of power and they found that indeed there was. You can't spin the fact that the majority were Republicans.

Again, I'll say, have some respect for yourself. There's no need to defend Palin. She's simply unworthy of the VP candidacy. Admitting that doesn't mean you are less of a Republican, rather, it means you have intellectual integrity and unshakable values. Those who go against the grain of the majority of their self-aligned group, when the group strays from your values, are those who show character.
