Quite a knee jerk market reaction for an Intel move with no rev impact for at least 18 mos. The specs won't be out until next year, when will the products flow? Q1 '99? I don't take such news very seriously, however, cable modems are a significant development which will put much needed pressure on MaBell. Can't see where ASND will be in this area. My experience with 56k so far is that because of the complex protocol, it increases the connect time. POTs solutions are peaking out.
