MJ...Trillions of dollars have been thrown around so much lately that "earmarks for Africa" don't really seem to deserve a "blip" on the screen. We've been into this "Borrow and Spend" thing since Reagan got elected and it really has to STOP!!! Clinton and a Republican Congress seemed to have stemmed the flow on this stuff before Bush and his (non-Gingrich) politicians got into office and took things to an entirely new level. The U.S. (both public and private) has to start PAYING their bills or the U.S. is going to go down the tubes, just like a lot of other countries went down the tubes after they overextended themselves. At LEAST Obama is talking about taxing SOMEBODY. All I hear from McCain is CUTTING taxes for EVERYBODY.
