My home line is an internet phone and I never get telemarketers or pollsters calling. Had the same number for 3 years. Not that I'm complaining you understand...

I do wonder if internet phones owners across the country have had similar experiences, and if so whether it could have an impact on polls.

Strange, so many of my family members who always vote Democrat will be voting for McCain this time. Yet the polls show just the opposite.

Another problem for pollsters is the disappearance of fixed lines phones in many houses. Some people can not be reached and that group is growing each year. They must be unsure how that affects their samples.

The pollsters all say they do call cell phones.
