Crown Royal

Believe me, ManyMoose enjoyed his finger of Crown Royal in his moose glass after cutting the tree down.

Confessional: I've loved trees all my life and spent most of my career replacing harvested forests with new fast-growing forests. I have no moral objection to cutting trees to benefit mankind, and I do not grieve when I see a truckload of logs going down the highway.

But I hate cutting them myself. I feel as though a tree is a living organism that I am putting to death, which is essentially true.

I hated cutting the tree even though it was damaging my driveway. I am creating a memorial to it out of the high stump that I left. Pictures later.

In my yard I have to pull up little tree seedlings that have started. That is just as hard as cutting a big one for me.
